A massive drill emerged from the armor’s limb, which Kirby drove straight through the top of Star Dream. The armor flipped a couple times before reorienting itself.Īnd finish it Kirby did. He could faintly hear Kirby’s cry of shock. A bright flash erupted from the front of the ship. He all but stabbed the sword into the slot and pulled. It must have been broken by a stray shot or debris. The only thing left was a slot where it should have been. “If we can jetteson Kirby and the armor at that thing,” he thought. Meta Knight didn’t need to hear anymore and charged out to the deck. “There’s a release lever at the top of Pinky’s face! That should force the ship and the armor to separate!” “Ah ha,” she exclaimed, “There!” She pointed out to the deck of the ship. Just when the clock faced contraption seemed defeated, it struck out in defiance. Kirby just growled and pushed the engine to its limits. “It can’t be,” one of his crew gasped as parts of the Access Ark were blown apart. The combo cannon worked great at peppering the Ark with shots while Kirby used the new Planet Buster cannon to capture debris and send it back. Vul nearly had a fit from Kirby flying his precious ship (Meta suspected that he was still mad at the pink puff for sinking the ship the first time). Kirby took the newly christened Robobot Halberd mode directly into battle with the Access Ark and Star Dream. Still, being in close quarters with the one who had turned him into her mechanical plaything left the masked knight a touch stressed, to put it lightly. She was partially responsible for Star Dream running amuck, so it was appropriate that she help fight it off. Meta Knight could see the sense in Kirby’s decision.
